Congratulations to the Overall Winners of the 12th Annual Off-Road Cup, MPS Pros (Kole Henslee, Travis Reyanud & Nathan Rector). They were able to put in 19 solid laps in 9 hrs, 15 mins, 54 sec. Taking 2nd Overall was OC Boys (Zeke Deeken, Ben Gentges & Seth Deeken). Rounding out the podium was CCT Construction (Kaleb Coffman, Colby Gibson, Chris Goodman).
Congratulations to our 2022 Overall Ironman, Ivan Banga, who completed 16 laps in 9 hrs, 5 mins, 53 sec. Ivan becomes our oldest rider to win the Overall at the age of 51. Taking 2nd Overall was Tucker Miller and 3rd Overall went to Dalton Young (their ages together don't equal 51). Very impressive rides by all of the Ironman competitors...racing for 9+ hours is no joke.
A link to important Final Reminders for this weekend's Off-Road Cup is posted on the Registration page along with the Gate & Rider Release forms. Read the entire "Final Reminders" & make sure your teammates & crews know what's up too. Please print the forms & bring with you to the event.
**NOTE - ORC Staff will NOT have cell/internet service from Thursday throughout the event, so do NOT expect any additional communication from us. Cell service is VERY spotty at the race location - plan accordingly. See you in a few days.
These sweet Off-Road Cup tees will be available at the event for a cool $20 bill. We have limited sizes/quantities so get yours before they're gone. Big thanks to Jerry Bernardo for creating this awesome design featuring the legendary Frank Leivan & to JK Custom Apparel for their excellent printing work.
We are using a designated “Rider Exchange” area, but it will be short, small, and no canopies or permanent spots will be allowed there. You will be able to set up a pit (no vehicles or trailers) away from the course, or riders can return to their vehicle in the campground. This is a similar setup to what we used the last couple of years, but note that we've switched the locations of the Rider Exchange area and the scoring trailer this time (because the course is going in the opposite direction). All Rider Exchanges MUST be made in the designated area. A link is available on the Registration page.
We'll be awarding cash prizes to the
Top 3 Overall Ironman competitors.
Payout as follows:
1st = $300
2nd = $200
3rd = $100

If you want a tire changed, you’ll need to get that scheduled
with them prior to the event start as they will also be competing.
They can be reached at 573-796-8685 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We'll be awarding cash prizes to the

Happy to have Custom Outfitters on board again as the event sponsor for the 2022 Off-Road Cup. If you’re in the market for a race trailer, you gotta check out what Matt & crew can offer you at Custom Outfitters. If you’re not in the market, you can at least throw a “thank you” Matt’s way for his continued commitment to this event and to off-road racing throughout the USA. www.custom-outfitters.com
First look at the official ORC 2022 design featuring FRANK LEIVAN. Frank had a passion for dirt bikes, racing, creating, marking & laying out trail, promoting, organizing events, the list goes on...and he instilled in us how to do it all the right way. Paying tribute to the man who meant so much to so many seems fitting & while it’s very difficult to continue this without him, it’s what he wants us to do. The design was created by the amazingly talented Jerry Bernardo who put in a lot of thought and care to make something extraordinary for us. We are so appreciative JB. Event tees will be available for purchase & we can’t wait to see people wearing this design.
Continuing the tradition of honoring our friend Michael Stanfield, Freedom Cycles will be awarding $100 certificates to the Top 3 finishers in the Ironman +50 class once again for 2022.
RV hookups & primitive camping are available at Panther Creek Trail Rides. They are asking for people to make reservations this year to help speed things up once you are onsite & they are also getting head counts for dinner Friday evening.
You can also find them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/PantherCreekTrailRides
Remember this is a REGIONAL event, so the class you compete in at ORC should be the same skill level class you compete in at your regional series events. Here's a guide for which class your team should be in based on skill levels:
If the team is AAA, AAB or AAC riders = A level class or higher
If the team is BBB, BBA or BBC riders = B level class or higher
If the team is CCC, CCA or CCB riders = C level class or higher
If the team is ABC riders = B level class or higher
**Family, +50, Ladies, Junior & all Iron classes are not based on skill levels** #theoffroadcup #orc22 #9hr #teamrace
